Plant in Tychy

  • Launch of the plant: 1999
  • Manufacturing processes: flexographic printing, rotogravure printing, pre-press of flexo printing plates, adhesive lamination, extrusion lamination, extrusion blow moulding of PE and PP films, metallization of plastic foils, cutting

Plant in Kęty

  • Launch of the plant: 1956
  • Manufacturing processes:  flexographic printing, rotogravure printing, adhesive lamination, extrusion lamination, lamination using microcrystalline wax, production of ice cream cone wrappers, cutting, storage of raw materials and finished products

Plant in Oświęcim

  • Launch of the plant: 2016
  • Manufacturing processes:  production of 5-layer co-extruded BOPP film, metallization of BOPP film, reprographics studio, pre-press of rotogravure printing cylinders

Production capabilities

  • Machinery park consisting of 7 rotogravure printers installed in two independent plants in Tychy and Kęty
  • Printing up to 10 colours

    • plastic films (PET, BOPP, OPA, MDO PE)
    • multilayer laminates
  • Possibility to refine the print with matt and structured varnishes such as Paper Touch
  • Possibility to apply heat seal varnish

  • We rely on our own repro studio and our own production of printing cylinders
  • Machinery park consisting of 8 flexographic printers installed in two independent plants in Tychy and Kęty

  • For packing of butter, bouillon cubes, margarine and sweets, we offer traditional high-barrier laminates based on paper, aluminium foil and microcrystalline wax, manufactured on a machine located in the plant in Kęty
  • Laminates with wax are characterized by very good shape memory
  • Possibility of refining laminates by adding a customized or universal embossing (knurling)
  • Refining of laminates by embossing process is carried out on a machine located at the plant in Kęty
  • Refining of laminates allows for obtaining an original decorative effect
  • Knurling operation is mainly used in the production of packaging for bouillon cubes and chocolate products
  • Machinery park consisting of 3 machines for vacuum spraying of aluminum (metallization) on plastic films
  • 2 units are located in the plant in Tychy, 1 unit in Alupol Films in Oświęcim
  • Possibility of metallization of a wide range of plastic films such as PET, BOPP, PE
  • Possibility of obtaining different optical densities of the metallized aluminum layer
  • Possibility of obtaining a transparent AlOx coating (oxidized aluminum layer) allowing manufacturing of high-barrier films and laminates with it
  • Films with an aluminum oxide layer AlOx offer the following features:
    • Very high barrier properties to oxygen and water vapour
    • High transparency
    • Can be used for packaging of microwaveable products – the AlOx layer is not detectable by a metal detector
    • Can be used as a component of laminates with or without overprint
    • Enable extended shelf life of the product in transparent packaging
  • Machinery park consisting of 3 machines for die cutting of blanks and 8 cone-rolling machines located in the plant in Kęty
  • Printing using rotogravure and flexographic technologies
  • The laminate for the production of ice cream cone wrappers based on aluminum foil and paper is manufactured in-line with printing made in rotogravure technique
  • Manufacturing of wrappers with different cone heights and angles
  • To make it easier to open the packaging, we offer laser cutting of the outer layer of the laminate (in either the longitudinal or transverse direction).
  • The use of Easy Open function does not compromise the barrier or mechanical properties of pouches and sachets
  • The machinery park consists of 3 units installed on laminate packaging equipment (slitters) located in the plants in Tychy and Kęty
  • In order to make it possible to carry out various types of promotional actions with the use of codes on or inside the packaging, we offer the manufacturing of laminates with unique codes printed inside (a sequence of non-repeating letter-digit sequences)
  • Application of promotional codes in a way that is safe for the packaged product (interlayer printing)
  • In-pack application of promotional codes using food grade inks
  • The manufacturing of photopolymer plates for flexographic printing takes place at the plant in Tychy
  • Two laser devices are used for engraving flexographic plates
  • Printing plates are cut in an automated process where scanners and precision knives ensure that each plate is cut to perfect tolerances, which is essential for subsequent assembly in printing machines
  • We have our own file processing reproduction studio located at Alupol Films in Oświęcim, dealing with:
    • development of designs enabling the production of printing plates providing quality and colours corresponding to the approved digital proof
    • For colour reproduction we rely on ArtPro, Adobe Suite and Corel software
    • GMG print proofs along with UGRA/FOGRA  certification system for print proofs
  • The manufacturing of rotogravure printing cylinders takes place at Alupol Films in Oświęcim
  • We have our own file processing reproduction studio located at Alupol Films in Oświęcim, dealing with:
    • development of designs enabling the production of printing plates providing quality and colours corresponding to the approved digital proof
    • For colour reproduction we rely on ArtPro, Adobe Suite and Corel software
    • GMG print proofs along with UGRA/FOGRA  certification system for print proofs
  • 3 automated lines for production of printing cylinders (electroplating, machining)
  • 9 stations for mechanical engraving of cylinders using diamond gravers
  • Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) film is one of the most commonly used materials in the packaging industry
  • Machinery park consisting of 2 lines for the production of 5-layer BOPP film with a width of 8.7 m at Alupol Films in Oświęcim
  • Production capacity is 80 thousand tons of BOPP film per year
