BOPP/BOPP

Recyclable BOPP/BOPP mono-laminate
BOPP/BOPP laminate is an ecological alternative to multi-material laminates based on PET or paper, which are not suitable for recycling. BOPP/BOPP laminate is characterized by high chemical resistance, and low permeability to water vapour, oils and fats, so it can be successfully used as packaging material for a wide range of products in the instant food, confectionery and bakery industries.
By using only polypropylene film (PP content>95%), the laminate meets the criteria for recyclability and is consistent with the principles of the circular economy.

ADVANTAGES
- Very good mechanical resistance to puncture, tearing and stretching
- Good transparency and surface gloss
- Reduction of packaging weight compared to PET-based multilayer laminates
- Low permeability to water vapour, volatile odours and fats
- Low heat seal temperature
- Good chemical resistance – possibility to pack foods of different nature, without loss of taste qualities
FEATURES
- Possibility of printing with both rotogravure and flexographic technologies
- Lower stiffness and higher flexibility compared to PET-based packaging
- BOPP/BOPP laminates are suitable for products that do not require high barrier properties
- Meets the principles of the circular economy
- BOPP/BOPP mono-laminates have a lower carbon footprint compared to their multi-material equivalents based on PET or paper
LAMINATE STRUCTURE AND TECHNOLOGIES USED
- Manufacturing technology of 5-layer biaxially oriented polypropylene film – BOPP
- Adhesive lamination technology
- Rotogravure or flexographic printing
