Due to the growing demand for ice cream cone wrappers, signaled by our European customers, Alupol Packaging Kety Ltd., subsidiary of Alupol Packaging PLC, signed a contract with the German company Weyhmüller Verpackungstechnik GmbH – the leader in supplier of machines for this sector – for the supply of punching and cone winding machines. Alupol Packaging Kety Ltd. is the largest manufacturer of cone-type ice cream wrappers in Central and Eastern Europe and has a unique technology for the production of the laminate and its in-line printing which results in optimal cost and guarantees the highest quality. The new investment will provide a 50% increase in the production capacity for this product range.
